Little orphan girl, isn't she so cute
Recently, Tun took us to a Shan Noodle restaurant. It is a hole in the wall ma and pa shop. This is the only dish they serve. Every time we go out to Palay, we like to stop and get a bowl of these delicious Shan noodles. It has rice vermicelli noodles, shredded chicken, cilantro, crispy chips, a slice of an egg, and a squeeze of lime.

This is the first time driving on this road and when we saw the VW, we had a good laugh, stopped our car and took these photos. We thought of Joshua and his VW van. This is a cool idea if your van is no longer running. Just turn it into a roadside store.

After working on San San Aye's home, dirty and tired, we came upon this scene.

We love walking around and seeing all the fresh vegetables of the street vendors. The other day I bought apples, asian pears, a large bunch of bananas and a pomelo for $3.00.

Planting trees

Our planting day at Hlawga Park. We accompanied 200 disabled people and planted trees. Each person planted two trees each and attached their names to the tree they planted. Later we enjoyed their karaoke singing.

Some of the things we've been up to.

We had a wonderful visit with President and Sister Smith of the Thailand Bangkok Mission. He interviewed the 5 missionaries.

Saw Polo and Susan's home was renovated. We brought in 3 truckload of sand, raised the house 3 feet, put on a new tin roof and bamboo woven walls. They tore apart their bed frame to use inside the home. Susan is very happy with a bigger kitchen.

We are digging a latrine for San San Aye.
