Dale took this picture of a gas station that was pouring the gas in containers and selling it for 2,500 ks ($2.50).

This is Zaw Hein (Happy), he is a trainer for Para-Olympics. He is a member of the church. Recently, he injured his foot and the untreated infection led to having his foot being amputated.

Happy is happy, he is training for Para-Olympic game. He trains athletes in the shot put and discus.

Recently, Tun took us to a Shan Noodle restaurant. It is a hole in the wall ma and pa shop. This is the only dish they serve. Every time we go out to Palay, we like to stop and get a bowl of these delicious Shan noodles. It has rice vermicelli noodles,shredded chicken, cilantro, crispy chips, a slice of an egg, and a squeeze of lime.

This is the first time driving on this road and when we saw the VW, we had a good laugh, stopped our car and took these photos. We thought of Joshua and his VW van. This is a cool idea if your van is no longer running. Just turn it into a roadside store.


After working on San San Aye's home, dirty and tired, we came upon this scene.
